Art Düsseldorf
Its premiere last year was a great success. The Art Dusseldorf on the area Böhler counted 43,000 visitors and received praise from gallery owners and collectors. The second edition will take place from 16 to 18 November – enlarged by twelve exhibitors and equipped with a more spacious café, this time in the hall at the water tower for exchange and to take a breather.
A total of 91 established and young exhibitors from 19 countries present modern and contemporary art from 1945 to 2018. 40 of them are newcomers, including the galleries Eigen + Art and Société from Berlin, Kadel Willborn from Düsseldorf, Akinci from Amsterdam, Ceysson & Bénétière from Paris and TKG * from Taipei.
Exhibition boss Walter Gehlen attaches great importance to regionality, a third of the exhibitors come from North Rhine-Westphalia: “The Art Dusseldorf opts for galleries that present art in their program both for collectors in the region and for international collectors, the history The local participants include the Galerie m Bochum (Bochum), the Galerie Utermann (Dortmund), the Galerie Löhrl (Mönchengladbach), the Thomas Rehbein Galerie (Cologne) and the Petra Rinck Gallery (Dusseldorf).
