Neujahrskonzert

For almost 40 years, conductor and presenter Franz Lamprecht has started the New Year with his New Year’s Concert in the Tonhalle.

As a soloist he has the operetta diva Désirée Brodka with songs and arias of, among others, Lehár (Paganini), Dostal (The Hungarian Wedding) and Ziehrer. In addition, the State Philharmonic from the Romanian Satu Mare plays popular and less known waltzes, polkas and marches from the time of the Strauss dynasty.
